As a commander, you and your crew lead every flight to success and ensure the high quality of our service. The employment is on a freelance basis.
The possible operator conversion prices start from spring 2026.
Tasks
You take over the overall responsibility for safe and efficient flight operations, including leading the crew, paying attention to punctuality and economy.
In addition:
- You act in accordance with the operational philosophy of Edelweiss
- Do you stand for a high quality standard for our guests
- You promote and cherve your employees in the crew and enforce a high standard of performance
- Are you responsible for the preparation and execution of the flight in accordance with legal regulations
- You guarantee an up-to-date level of knowledge regarding systems, flight procedures and operation

Preconditions
Requirements:
- EASA ATPL License with Type Rating A350
- Minimum 5000 hours of flight hours incl. experience in long-haul operation
- Minimum 1500 hours Commander experience on Airbus A3XX
- Valid Medical Class 1
- Very good language skills in German (Min. level C1) and English (level B2/ICAO level 4)
- Swiss citizen of the EU-27/EFTA
- Strong leadership and team skills
