Tasks
As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you bring our guests safely and on time to their destination and are responsible for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers and the cargo on board. Other tasks are:
- Operates the SWISS aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, paying attention to punctuality, economy and a high quality standard for our guests
- Flight preparation and execution according to the specifications of SWISS
- Cooperation with crew, ground staff and air traffic control
- Support and representation of the Commander in all matters
- Constant, independent maintenance and deepening of professional knowledge
- Responsible and sustainable action

Preconditions
The following criteria must be met for the work as Direct Entry First Officer A320 at SWISS:
In addition to a completed training with Matura/Abitur, Diplom HF, general university or university entrance qualification, you meet the following requirements:
- ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL)
- Advanced UPRT Training acc. EASA.FCL.745
- Valid A320 Type Rating
- Multi Engine IR Rating with PBN
- At least 800h flight experience on A320 family
- Medical Class 1 Certificate
- Fully documented aviation performance certificate (flight book extract, license, etc.)
- Swiss nationality or EU-27/EFTA passport
- Very good language skills in German (min. Language level level C1 proof, if German not mother tongue / everyday language) & good English skills (min. ICAO Level 4)
- Impeccable reputation
- Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
- Height: 160-198cm
- Maximum age: 56 years based on GAV
